From our first video that was broadcast on Valentine’s Day 2008, we always filmed footage either on mobile phones, or digital cameras. This footage was all standard definition footage, and now looking back when you watch it, it looks grainy and unusable. In 2009 we had ideas of filming and up scaling videos into higher quality; this led to HD test shoots with up scaling the standard definition file “Attack On Jack Wills”. The results weren’t that much better admittedly. With almost a year break, we came back releasing a new video named “Wigga Flip” in 2010. This again was filmed using standard definition sources, although the up scaling process was much easier, and gained better results as the recording was undeniably perfect footage, and got great reception. On November 12 2010, Sam&DrewTube released their first High Definition short; it’s entitled “Samantha’s Extravaganza”, and was filmed in Spain on location in Magaluf using a Canon PowerShot SD780IS. The clarity in these shots are extravagant and utterly vibrant, it really brings to life the humour we are trying to portray to the world, and it’s now certain that all Sam&DrewTube material now will be presented in true High Definition.
